Flute, Oboe and Piano

I wanted to write a bit about "Mysterious Pond" for Flute, Oboe and Piano. The work was written for the Carmel Trio while I was in residence at the MacDowell Colony in New Hampshire. In the area was a pond, and at night, the frogs and other night birds made haunting sounds that got into the music.
