Flute, Oboe and Piano

I wanted to write a bit about "Mysterious Pond" for Flute, Oboe and Piano. The work was written for the Carmel Trio while I was in residence at the MacDowell Colony in New Hampshire. In the area was a pond, and at night, the frogs and other night birds made haunting sounds that got into the music.

The Little Mermaid - a new music work based on the well-loved story of Hans Christian Andersen written for an actor, two pianos, flute, clarinet, percussion and string quartet is to be premiered on 28 July in Germany.
